The Farmington Chamber of Commerce's Chile in October event is set for 11
a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, October 10 at the Gateway Museum, 3041 E. Main St. A chili cook-off will be held, which will offer some of the area's finest chili cooks to compete for cash prizes. Green and red chili will be judged.
Admission is $5, which includes two cups for chili tasting. The Wines of the San Juan and Three Rivers Brewery will be on hand for adult beverages. Food and soft drinks will also be available. Sponsorship opportunities remain and applications to take part in the chili cook-off are available. Call the chamber at 505-325-0279, or stop by the chamber office at 100 W. Broadway.
